THE ACCREDITATION SIGNS ON HOSPITALS “ACCREDITATED” and “IN PROCESS OF ACCREDITATION” such graphic signs must be displayed at the entrances of the sanitary units in Romania, which have been accredited or are in the process of evaluation for accreditation.
The accreditation confirms that a unit has the necessary professional resources and competences to provide medical care in the specialties it has in the structure, respecting the safety of the patient and his employees.
By accreditation, the conformity of the characteristics of the health services, performed by the health units, is validated, which means that a medical unit strives to provide medical care that meets the expectations of patients, both from the point of view and from the point of view of the conditions under which they are granted.
