{"id":424,"date":"2020-05-19T16:38:47","date_gmt":"2020-05-19T13:38:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anmcs.gov.ro\/en\/?page_id=424"},"modified":"2020-05-19T16:38:47","modified_gmt":"2020-05-19T13:38:47","slug":"why-accreditation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/anmcs.gov.ro\/en\/why-accreditation\/","title":{"rendered":"Why Accreditation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Medical facilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211;\u00a0Why should\u00a0<\/strong><strong>I get a<\/strong><strong>ccredit<\/strong><strong>ation<\/strong><strong>?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Accreditation is a compulsory condition for health establishments which provide or do not provide services in relation to the public health insurance system, with the exception of family medicine practices, Dental medical cabinets and medical cabinets in the specialized ambulance organized pursuant to Government Ordinance no. 124\/1998 on the organization and functioning of medical cabinets, republished, as amended and supplemented, and Company Law no 31\/1990, republished, as amended and supplemented, as well as medical analysis laboratories and pathological anatomy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; How accreditation is valid<\/strong><strong>?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The accreditation certificate is valid for a period of 5 years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211;\u00a0<\/strong><strong>When should I register for a new cycle of accreditation?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Registration for the next accreditation cycle must be made one year before the accreditation certificate expires.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; What does it mean to monitor a health unit?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The monitoring of the sanitary units represents the follow-up of the level of implementation of the management system of the quality of the health services and of the patient safety, based on the methodology approved by the Board of Directors of ANMCS.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; When can\u00a0accreditation\u00a0be suspended\u00a0?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The suspension of accreditation may be decided, in the monitoring process, if deviations from good clinical and managerial practices have been found in a healthcare unit, which could see\u00a0serious consequences in terms of patient safety\u00a0.
