REGIONAL CONFERENCES “ACCREDITATION OF AMBULATORY UNITS”

The first conference on “Accreditation of ambulatory units” took place on February 20, 2020 in Bucharest.

The event was attended by representatives of out-patient health providers: pre-hospital emergency, outpatient palliative care, home medical care, medical devices, paramedical medical service providers – radiology and medical imaging and laboratory for medical analysis, specialized ambulators, physical medicine and rehabilitation, primary medical care, dental medicine.

Specialists from the National Health Quality Management Authority discussed the following topics with participants: the need to start the accreditation process, the importance of accreditation for quality of service enhancement, evaluation for accreditation every 5 years and post-accreditation monitoring, standards for accreditation of out-patient service providers in ANMCS view, evaluation process – conduct, requested documents.

The regional conference on the theme “Accreditation of ambulatory units” was organized in institutional partnership with the Amfiteatru Foundation.
